The SIAP Story: A Journey of Innovation
SIAP (System for Improved Acoustic Performance) was founded in the 1980’s out of frustration with the limitations of existing acoustic enhancement systems. At a time when electro-acoustic technology was still in its infancy, the concept of transforming performance spaces at the touch of a button felt like a dream.
SIAP has been a pioneer of active acoustic enhancement long before immersive audio became a trend. Our early patents, filed in the 1990s, introduced core principles that later became standard in variable acoustic system design. These patents serve as a testament to our leadership in modern electro-acoustic practice.
Our team, comprised of acousticians, musicians, and technical experts, seamlessly blends the science of sound with the art of music. What started as a bold idea in a small Dutch workshop has blossomed into a globally trusted reference in active acoustics and spatial sound.
